Oliver Grün

Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Oliver Grün, born in 1969, is a German IT entrepreneur.  founder and director. In 1989 he founded his company, GRÜN Software AG, which now employs about 100 people in six different locations across Europe. He is the president of the German Association of Medium-Sized IT-Companies (BITMi) and president of the European Digital SME Alliance. Since 2013, he is also member of the Advisory Council for IT of the Federal Ministry of Economy.
Due to his direct experience as IT entrepreneur, Oliver is a convinced supporter of the Digital Single Market. He is very knowledgeable about the opportunities as well as the legal and cultural restrictions that still prevent SMEs from exploiting the full potential of the DSM.
